“Do everything without complaining and arguing,” – (Philippians 2:14)
‪Enough said‬ …but I’ll say a bit more. There is nothing more destructive to your faith, hope, vision and current task at hand. Through complaining you really get nowhere. You don’t advance. Nothing changes. You spend energy and emotion that discourages and depresses you. You speak negativity and defeat. You then begin to look for something or someone new only to arrive and find yourself in the same situation. Why? Because with our mouths, we curse the thing we asked God to bless.

There’s a fine line between pursuing what God has next and running from the responsibility of stewarding a season well. The next thing is always impacted by how we left the last thing. Whether we like it or not, God does not allow us to cut corners, even when we spiritualize something in our own hearts and minds.

God’s Kingdom is a family and we are a part of it, but we are never the center of it. What’s happening in us and through us is more important that what is happening around us. A faith filled, humble spirit, along with a grateful heart can move the hand of God. Complaining and arguing sows seeds of discord into your current season. It disrupts the clarity needed to steward that season well. It puts the blame on others and causes us to look away from the mirror at our own character. So, be the person that BRINGS change into the world….not the person always LOOKING for a new change. Your season is your responsibility. Lead it well. – Daniel
